Growth Agenda 2030

Demand for the auto body repair industry is growing across the United States, and the growth of chain businesses in this field over the last few decades has shown how well they can perform. There is much opportunity for Company Charlie to capitalize on this trend and capture a significant portion of the market in southern California. The following analysis and conclusions will indicate where within this region the greatest growth potential could be realized. The analysis begins with a primary focus on U.S. Census data and projections of growth. Through this information, a snapshot of the buying power in various cities is constructed as a means of gauging where the strongest markets exist now, and are anticipated in future years. Consideration is given to the presence of competitors, especially existing chain shops, which can fragment the market and have a flow of business already being directed to them from insurance companies. Ultimately, the cities with the strongest markets and minimal competition are nominated as recommendations for where Company Charlie could be most successful in their expansion efforts.
